Liberia's College for Physicians & Surgeons

Established Liberia’s only medical resource center at the largest hospital – JFK Medical Center – for medical residents, faculty & staff, equipped with laptops, tablets and high-speed internet as well as offline educational resources. Provided the College for Physicians & Surgeons with a custom website and administrative training.

Anti-Corruption Reporting

In collaboration with Sierra Leone’s Anti-Corruption Commission and other key stakeholders, iLab developed an online platform that allows citizens to report incidents of petty corruption that is publicly mapped and forwarded to the appropriate government agency for response.

Community Livelihood & Investment Project

Developed a mobile data collection and M&E system for the Government of Liberia’s Liberia Agency for Community Empowerment. iLab also procured equipment & offered field trainings across the country for data collectors.

FOI Request Platform

With mySociety, iLab customized a Freedom of Information request platform allowing citizens to digitally request from gov’t Public Information Officers.

Mapping Ebola Cases

Customized a platform for Ebola response actors that tracked and visualized suspected Ebola-related cases nationwide.

Ebola Response & Prevention Consortium

Provided equipment, internet & volunteer data clerks to Min. of Health’s Emergency Dispatch Unit. Tech lead for Consortium on data management & visualization for Ebola response actors.

Liberia's IT Revolution

Trained & mentored 27 aspiring entrepreneurs seeking to integrate tech into their proposed business plans as part of national business plan competition. Incubated 9 winning SME’s in range of tools for biz management, operations & customer service.

Knowmore LIB

In partnership with local & international stakeholders, Liberia’s Open Government Partnership Steering Committee, iLab developed an open data portal to store & filter government data for public use.

Mapping Police Misconduct

Customized an SMS reporting system and hotline for citizens to report police misconduct to the Liberia National Police’s Professional Standard Division. Included provision of tailored map of reports for the Police’s monitoring & evaluation purposes.
